Which Samsung Phone Should I get?
23/12/2019

Are you getting sick of iPhones getting all the attention? Maybe you’ve never seen what all the fuss is about. Or maybe at long last, you’re contemplating disconnecting from the Matrix and, dare I say it, leaving Apple!

Well whatever your circumstances, we’ve got you covered. Or more specifically, Samsung has you covered, and then we have covers that cover them. We’ll stop there, you get it.

Samsung released its flagship Galaxy S10 Plus earlier this year (March 2019). It’s definitely a contender with the latest iPhones. With its 6.4-inch edge-to-edge screen display, this device boasts a 93.1% screen-to-body ratio. Its triple-lens rear camera can take ultra-wide photos, while its wireless PowerShare feature is bound to come in very handy indeed.

The S10 boasts a slick looking Infinity-O screen (Samsung’s term for an all-screen display), with a very high screen-to-body ratio. Like the S10 Plus, this device also comes with a triple-lens rear camera that takes ultra-wide photos. It also has the wireless PowerShare feature. It’s slightly smaller than the S10 Plus, however, with a 6.1 inch display. It also has slightly less battery life.

Galaxy S9

Back to the days when phones could actually fit in your pocket! The S9 measures in with a 5.8 inch screen. It boasts a strong camera for its age, which performs terrifically in well-lit shots, but struggles a bit in low light. Its impressive face-unlock feature might sound nifty, but there have been various doubts raised about its security.

Galaxy S8 Plus

The S8 Plus comes with a 6.2 inch display, which is slightly bigger than its smaller brother the S8. The S8 Plus comes with a distinct look and design, and even boasts Gorilla Glass 5 on the front and back to keep its insides safe and sound.

Galaxy S8

The S8 shares a similar bezel-less display to the S8 Plus, but measures in slightly smaller, at 5.8 inches. It also has a smaller battery. Like the S8 Plus, the screen quality is excellent. One downside is that the fingerprint scanner being placed on the back of the device can make using it a little awkward at times.
